Fun Fabulous Florists for Your Wedding in Hawaii

Fun Fabulous Florists for Your Wedding in Hawaii

Today we wanted to highlight some our favorite fun fabulous florists in Hawaiʻi (you’re welcome for that alliterative exerpience.) Hawaiʻi has an amazing selection of local and native botanicals, that when added to more traditional floral arrangements, can create delightful decorations and wedding bouquets. Here are a few of our favorite florists and floral designers we have had the opportunity to work with at our recent weddings.

Bouquets with Large Flowers

We love, love, love these non-traditional wedding bouquets. Large elements like a King Protea or Monstera leaves just seem to have a sense of WOW. Especially when arranged with more traditional floral arrangements like roses and lilies. These bouquets photograph excellent and stand out in any bridal portrait. When paired with a slimming dress like a mermaid cut, your flowers will be more than just a decorative bouquet, it turns into a statement piece.

Bright and Bold Colors

What better way to coordinate your wedding day color pallete than with a bold and colorful wedding bouquet. Think bright red and yellow or a deep purple. These bouquets definitely stand out in front of a white wedding dress, especially on a white sand beach with crystal clear blue water in the background. Hawaiʻi is known for its bright and bold colors - aloha shirts, orchid leis, even the colorful forest birds. Pair your wedding day decor with a colorful wedding bouquet and be sure your photos will full of fun and energy.

Unique Flowers & Fruits

You heard me right - fruits in a wedding bouquet. We have seen little pomegranates, bell peppers, Chinese Lantern Flowers. More and more, florists are getting creative with the elements they add into wedding bouquets, and we love it. And think about it, you are out taking bridal and couple portraits, the ceremony is finished, the guests are at the cocktail hour eating their appetizers, but what about you. Enter the snack bouquet, just munch on the bell peppers in your bouquet. Well, not really. All joking aside, your bouquet will be one to remember and one that your guests will be talking about for a long time to come.

Traditional Rose Bouquets

In the end nothing speaks romance and weddings like roses. By any other name, a rose, would smell as sweet. Be it traditional red roses, or softer pastel colors like pink or baby blue, rose bouquets are the standard for wedding bouquets for a reason. They are stunning and gorgeous. For a classic bride, this would be the perfect choice. Even if your wedding decor includes different flowers, your rose wedding bouquet will fit right in.
