Sometimes your best laid plans often go awry. Justin and Iayisha planned their dream wedding in Hawaiʻi with their ceremony in Mānoa and a fun and lively reception on the beach in Waikīkī. But as life goes, things changed, and they were forced to shift their plans. Their ceremony in Mānoa changed into an intimate ceremony on the beach, which was perfect because it gave us a lot more time for some couple photos at Kailua Beach.
Sebastian and Silvia travelled all the way from Germany to celebrate their vows on the white sandy beach of Waimanalo. Nani Weddings Hawaii did an amazing job setting up the perfect beach elopement for this beautiful couple.
Today we wanted to highlight some our favorite fun fabulous florists in Hawaiʻi (you’re welcome for that alliterative exerpience.) Hawaiʻi has an amazing selection of local and native botanicals, that when added to more traditional floral arrangements, can create delightful decorations and wedding bouquets. One of our favorite moments during their wedding came during sunset. Koʻolau Ballrooms has a great view of the mountains, which seemed to light on fire as the sun set just behind them. We decided to step away from the festivities for a second to capture some gorgeous sunset photos.
Kristi came across St. Augustine By The Sea while on vacation with her family in Waikiki and instantly fell in love with the church. This was the perfect place to host their intimate destination wedding in Hawaii. Family and friends flew in to celebrate with Kristi and Dennis, and soak up some sun along the way. St. Augustine By The Sea is a gorgeous church with a stunning stained-glass wall that catches the mid-day sun perfectly.
You might assume that Cory and Daniel are truly patriotic Americans, to host their nuptials on U.S. Independence Day. But this date is a bit more meaningful to them than a stars-and-stripes holiday. Their first date and engagement both took place on the Fourth of July.
