I absolutely loved producing this wedding film for Suʻa and Kekoa as I got to learn so much about their relationship as it grew in our post-high years. And to have their wedding ceremony on campus, right where their story began was truly perfect. Looking at the way they love each other, you can see right away how perfect they are for each other and how strong their love is.Read More

I first met Tiffany at her grandfather’s 90th birthday party. A few weeks later she reached out to me with the news that she was getting married in 2019. So we planned to have their engagement photos taken at Waimanalo Beach, a great spot for long white sandy beaches and flowery fields in a lush forest.Read More

Romantic Beach Get-Away
Chris had planned a romantic vacation for his girlfriend, and promised that it would be a trip to remember. And with the proposal he was planning, it definitely was. We had picked out Papaʻiloa Beach on the North Shore as the location for his proposal because it is a very beautiful beach. It is a fairly secluded beach and a perfect spot for the sunset with the Koʻolau Mountains and Waiʻanae Mountains as backdrops.

Waimānalo Beach, Waimānalo
Chris lived in Hawaiʻi many years ago, and as he returned with his family for their summer vacation it was only fitting for him to renew their wedding vows at a place he once called home. The beach along Waimānalo Bay always was a special place, especially when the sun rises and illuminates the mountains from Makapuʻu to Kailua. Everything about this beach is beautiful and served for the perfect location for their romantic wedding vow renewals.
Kailua Beach, Kailua
Neyva came to visit her fiance while he was stationed in Honolulu and thought it would be a perfect opportunity to have their engagement photos taken. She fell in love with Kailua Beach and really wanted to have her photos taken at that location - which posed a slight problem. Kailua Beach is very popular and half-naked sunbathers don't make the most attractive background objects. In the end, we were able to find some great spots for their romantic beach photos and we were all thrilled with the way that their photos turned out.
When Sai booked their tickets to Hawaiʻi, his girlfriend thought that they were only going on a romantic vacation. Little did she know that he had plans to propose.Read More

Ko Olina, Honouliuli
Lisa and Kevin planned a family vacation to Hawaiʻi to celebrate their wedding anniversary and coordinated a very intimate ceremony on the beach to renew their wedding vows. 20 years of marriage and a beautiful family including a 6 month old granddaughter are a couple great reasons to celebrate. We were blessed to have the entire beach to ourselves and took advantage of that opportunity to capture some great moments and family photos.
Waiʻalae Beach Park, Waiʻalae
Hallie booked her flight from Mississippi to visit her boyfriend who has been stationed here in the Army. Little did she know that upon arrival, Christopher had bigger plans for her time here. After a surprise proposal, we scheduled an engagement photo session. I absolutely love how fun they were to work with. Just look at our photos from their session. So in love with nothing but the rest of their lives ahead.

On The Sands of Haneoʻo
What began as a beautiful love story along Kōkī Beach in Haneoʻo on the Hāna coast of Maui turned full circle as Casey and Matt exchanged their wedding vows at the same beach. The gorgeous red sand of Kōkī Beach created a stunning backdrop for Casey and Matt's beach wedding ceremony.
Taking the drive to Hāna is long, but for a wedding like this, it is more than worth it. The town of Hāna is a perfect location for a destination wedding, especially when planned by the Hana Wedding Co. Everything about the wedding day was perfect - the sunny weather for a day at the beach, the quiet spot for an intimate wedding ceremony, and even the beautiful hale (traditional Hawaiian house) at Holani Hana which hosted the reception and after-party.
The Long Windy Road
Our Hāna adventure began with a short pit stop in Pāʻia for all last minute rations, then began on the full 46 mile drive along the infamous Hāna Highway. I gave myself a couple extra hours for this drive with the intention of stopping along the way to let the drone out. With a few dozen epic waterfalls along the way, I was certain that there would be a perfect opportunity to capture something epic.
Upon arriving to Hāna, the bridal party was already in the middle of getting ready - hair and makeup underway and all groomsmen dressed and ready to go. Everyone's was excited for the upcoming ceremony and the weather seemed to hold up. Usually the weather in Hāna is very predictable with low-lying clouds through out the afternoon looming with intermitent showers. This afternoon was an exception.
Ohana in Hāna
I think my favorite part of this entire experience, in addition to working with such an amazing couple, was the opportunity to be welcomed in to their community of friends and family in Hāna. I feel like I am now a part of this Hāna ohana as a result of this wedding day and will always remember this truly memorable wedding ceremony. I hope you enjoy our latest wedding film of #CaseyandMattgetMauid
