Annaprasana Ceremony in Honolulu

As a photographer, I have had the opportunity to experience many firsts. An Annaprasana Ceremony is definitely one of those experiences that I probably would not have had been invited to if I weren't a photographer. It is a very special occasion for parents as it is the first time a baby is fed rice and signifies their transition from a new born to an infant. Of course I had to do some research prior to attending this ceremony, and needless to say there were still many customs and traditions that I was very new to. Overall, this was a very fun experience and I am so glad to have been a part of the Vasireddy's special occasion.
