Planning Every Detail
Jason reached out the week before arriving in Hawaiʻi. He had planned a trip with his girlfriend and decided that the moment would be right. After walking through the details of his proposal, we assisted him in choosing the right location. We had planned out everything and now the rest was up to him. It was exciting hiding in plain sight as we had never met face-to-face before. I just had to hide the other cameras in the bushes and the fact that I was walking around with a camera pointed straight at them. In the end everything worked out great.
I love being a part of these special moments, knowing that I have captured something that Samantha and Jason can look over in the years to come and remember where their lives as a married couple began. Congratulations Samantha and Jason, I am overly excited to get to be there again for your wedding day!

On The Sands of Haneoʻo
What began as a beautiful love story along Kōkī Beach in Haneoʻo on the Hāna coast of Maui turned full circle as Casey and Matt exchanged their wedding vows at the same beach. The gorgeous red sand of Kōkī Beach created a stunning backdrop for Casey and Matt's beach wedding ceremony.
Taking the drive to Hāna is long, but for a wedding like this, it is more than worth it. The town of Hāna is a perfect location for a destination wedding, especially when planned by the Hana Wedding Co. Everything about the wedding day was perfect - the sunny weather for a day at the beach, the quiet spot for an intimate wedding ceremony, and even the beautiful hale (traditional Hawaiian house) at Holani Hana which hosted the reception and after-party.
The Long Windy Road
Our Hāna adventure began with a short pit stop in Pāʻia for all last minute rations, then began on the full 46 mile drive along the infamous Hāna Highway. I gave myself a couple extra hours for this drive with the intention of stopping along the way to let the drone out. With a few dozen epic waterfalls along the way, I was certain that there would be a perfect opportunity to capture something epic.
Upon arriving to Hāna, the bridal party was already in the middle of getting ready - hair and makeup underway and all groomsmen dressed and ready to go. Everyone's was excited for the upcoming ceremony and the weather seemed to hold up. Usually the weather in Hāna is very predictable with low-lying clouds through out the afternoon looming with intermitent showers. This afternoon was an exception.
Ohana in Hāna
I think my favorite part of this entire experience, in addition to working with such an amazing couple, was the opportunity to be welcomed in to their community of friends and family in Hāna. I feel like I am now a part of this Hāna ohana as a result of this wedding day and will always remember this truly memorable wedding ceremony. I hope you enjoy our latest wedding film of #CaseyandMattgetMauid
Happily Weber After
Island hop over to Hawaiʻi Island and we expected to arrive to a typical overcast and rainy Hilo afternoon. However, the weather was beautiful, sunny and breezy - auspicious for the wedding day ahead.
Jacqueline and Timothy decided to host their wedding ceremony at their home church and it was a beautiful sight to see all of their friends and family joining in the celebration. While both their wedding ceremony and reception was hosted indoors, we took advantage of the beautiful day to go holoholo around town in search of beautiful photo ops - Carlsmith Beach Park, Lokowaka Pond and Liliʻuokalani Gardens.
We were blessed to spend the day with this amazing couple and as we parted ways later that evening, we wished them the best. With the love that they have for each other and the amazing friends and family they have in their lives I know that they will live #HappilyWeberAfter
A Country Girl and Her Boy for the City
What all started as a high school romance between two young hearts from distant sides of the island, has blossomed into a beautiful marriage. Cammy, the country girl from Koʻolaupoko, grew up running in the forest and working in her family's farm. Tyler, the ʻEwa boy from the concrete jungle, never thought he would meet the love of his life that morning in class.
They say opposites attract and in this case, they truly complement each other. How fitting to pronounce their wedding vows in a beautiful ʻEwa Beach church and then venture east to celebrate beneath the Koʻolau mountains. This was a very enjoyable wedding to have been a part of and a beautiful love story to have the privledge of telling.

He Punawai Kahe Wale Ke Aloha
Love is really a mysterious concept. We may think we know what we mean when we speak the words "I love you". Often time these words are overused and misused, and people think they are feeling love when they are actually feeling something else.
Standing in the presence of Kaʻapuni and Jeremiah, you can feel the true meaning of love. The patience and kindness they show towards each other is nothing short of genuine. It reminded me of the ʻOlelo Noʻeau - "He punawai kahe wale ke aloha" (love is a spring that flows freely).
Love is boundless and best when given freely and abundantly to everyone.

12 Years In The Making
This couple wanted to share with their friends and family what made their love so special. The bond they shared through the ups and downs of life was beautifully told through their love story. But it was not just their story of how they met and fell in love that was so special, it was the culminating event to cap it all off, their amazing winter wedding in Hawaii.
This Love Story Feature, was only best told through their vows and what better way to share that at their wedding reception than reliving the beautiful moment.
It is not just the way that Leilani cares for Alvin or the way that he cherishes her, it is the way that they continue to face adversities head-on together that makes their love so strong. And even with a wedding with so many ups and downs, they embraced it together hand in hand.
This is a beautiful story to tell and one that I enjoyed sharing.

Persistant and True
Lauren will be the first to admit that when she first met Steven, she never saw herself at the end of wedding aisle, yet alone walking happily hand-in-hand. It was Steven's honesty, patience, and true friendship that helped her see in him the man of her dreams.
What better setting for such a beautiful love story than the majestic Koʻolau Mountains at the Koʻolau Ballroom. Watch as they share their friendship and love for each other at their beautiful wedding ceremony.

Love Means Aloha
Its funny how little you may really know about a person until you start to ask the deeply personal questions. This was true for close friends Shannon and Loriann. I knew that they were avid surfers and that this connection was very special to them. I just didn't realize how foundational it was to their relationship.
I really enjoyed hearing the two of them retell their story and how they met each other. Their testimony was very inspirational and hilarious at times. I love how Loriann and Shannon truly care about each other and how it comes out when they talk about each other.
I hope you enjoy this Love Story film as much as I enjoyed producing it.

Sunset Love Story
Well here it is, our first love story wedding feature. This was a feat and took a lot of planning, but I have to admit that it paid off in the end. I can't help but enjoying the little moments in Leigh Anne and Danny's love story where you can see the true love. I think there was a moment where we actually cried (tears of joy) during filming. But after spending a week following the happy couple around the island, and countless hours editing it all down, I feel like I know their story front-to-back. And their's is a love to envy.
This feature was filmed at Sandy's Beach Park, Tantalus State Park as well as their wedding venue a the beautiful Sunset Ranch in Pupukea.

Bobby Likes Gisele
A union of not only two amazing individuals, but of two very different cultures from two distant countries. Robert McDaniel and Gisele Pitot made their vows under the beautiful sun at the Kawailoa Ranch on the North Shore of Oʻahu. This ranch hosts beautiful scenery and an amazing place to see the sunset - and you could drive by all of this in a blink of an eye if you weren't aware.
I have had the honor to work with both Robert and Gisele at non-profit, Surfing The Nations. I have gotten to know the two of them apart and I have witnessed the two of them grow their relationship together. It is so heartwarming to see two individuals who not only love each other with all of their hearts, but spend their lives serving and loving other people around them.
Hipster Cool Decor
Their wedding was a clash of hipster cool and classic Surfing The Nations flare. There was so many elements within the decorations that I'm not sure if I even caught it all. My top three favs (which made it to the video) were the photo wall of friends and family, the random African proverbs, and the mason jar chandelier. Everything created the perfect atmosphere for and outdoor wedding celebrating two radical individuals.
Everything was perfect. The love between Gisele and Robert was evident in the many friends and family that gathered to celebrate alongside them. The entire day was amazing, and I know that every time I drive through the North Shore past the ranch, I will be reminded of this amazing wedding.
